Stop Coal Seam Gas Rally

Join speakers at a rally outside NSW parliament in Macquarie Street, Sydney on Thursday 15 March at 4pm before the petition for a CSG Moratorium is debated inside parliament at 4.30pm.

STOP COAL SEAM GAS RALLY
Thursday 15 March 4pm – 6pm
The NSW Parliament will debate on the 30,000-strong Coal Seam Gas petition demanding
* A moratorium on all CSG activity
* A royal commission into all aspects of CSG activity
* A ban on fracking

In recent weeks CSG company Santos has admitted to at least 20 toxic leaks from its CSG wells in the Pilliga (north-west NSW), leaving a "kill zone" of dead vegetation. Yet drilling has just started on a new CSG well 60km southwest of Sydney - in NSW's major water catchment.
