Over 10,000 signatures are on a petition calling on the O'Farrell government to instigate:
A Royal Commission into CSG mining;
A moratorium on all CSG mining activities
pending the outcome of the RC;
A ban on hydraulic fracturing.
The NSW Parliament is sitting for two more weeks this year. The petition will be submitted to Premier O'Farrell on Tuesday November 22 at 1pm on the steps of Parliament House, 6 Macquarie Street,Sydney.
Unfortunately, due to several other petitions' being submitted earlier parliamentary debate won't happen until next year, probably close to the time when the Upper House Inquiry report is published.
