Coal Seam Gas and You
A Coal Seam Gas Information Session will be held in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre,
on Thursday 16 February at 7.00pm. Windsor
In partnership with the Putty Community Association, Hawkesbury Environment Network (HEN) and the Environmental Defender’s Office are presenting information about legal processes applying to the granting of exploration and mining licences on private land in the Hawkesbury.
Licences for coal seam gas test drilling have already been granted for about one quarter of NSW, including the entire
area. The information session will provide landowners with information about their rights and environmental and farming impacts if coal seam gas mining is approved on their property. Sydney
